Managing Director

Tell us about your background

I started Eden Fine Wines almost 20 years ago with a clear vision to do things differently, bringing my Corporate Business background to an industry that was in much need for change. This includes how we engage as suppliers and customers to form a collaborative approach with the common goal of selling great wines and maximizing profitability, whilst providing wines that our Consumers will love and enjoy.

What are the biggest challenges that your customers face and how do you overcome them?

The Economic challenges post Brexit, Pandemic and the Ukraine War are all contributing to a difficult economic environment, I believe it is time for the supply chain to support one another during this time and show resilience, with a collaborative approach we will come out of this period stronger and in better shape as an industry. We maybe leaner in the end but we will certainly be ftter!


Andy Hudson


Sales Director

What does your role involve?

As Sales Director my ultimate objective is to grow Eden Fine Wines and to help us achieve our goals and ambitions. My role involves setting standards and framework for sales teams as well as creating an inclusive and collaborative culture, with one common vision. As well as working on the existing projects we have in the pipeline, I work closely with the sales team, developing sales opportunities and building strong customer relationships.

Tell us about your background

Having worked in a number of different sectors and industries over the past 20 years, I joined Eden Fine Wines ten years ago. With very little wine or industry knowledge at that time, it has been one heck of a journey and personal learning curve. One thing I have learnt in the world of wine, is that “you never stop learning” and whilst it has been a tough few years, it is still a great sector to work in.

Tell us about your background

I'm a former restauranteur, with a long history in the hospitality industry,
managing everything from wedding venues, to restaurants, gastropubs and a golf club. When I sold my restaurant, I decided to follow my interest in wine, which at the time formed the most successful part of my business. I use this experience every day in my role and I feel that having a good understanding of both sides of the industry allows me to drive profitability for my customers. I've been in their shoes and I know what they need.

Why do you love working at Eden Fine Wines?

Having come from a corporate environment, I love the family feel at Eden Fine Wines. We're a close-knit team and everyone is invested in each other's success. It's rewarding to know that any contribution you make is impactful and greatly appreciated.

How do you help Eden go the extra mile for our customers

No customer is the same, and everyone's needs are very different. So, truly listening and understanding our customers, sets us a part. We go the extra mile because we want our customers to be successful and to be confident in our partnership, to know they can rely on Eden and myself to deliver.

Tell us about your background

I have always worked in a customer facing role, and in sales. I am a people person, and what makes me happy, is to know my customers are happy and receiving the service they deserve. My wine knowledge is forever expanding, and I am really excited to meet Eden Fine Wines, suppliers and build on WSET and more.

Outside wine knowledge, what else can you offer your customers?

I am a firm believer in partnerships, this has to work for both sides. I can offer understanding of their business, a keen eye on products and competitors and being able to grow their business commercially.



Harriet Pinnington


Regional Sales Manager, Manchester & North West

Tell us about your background

I have worked in the Wine and spirits industry since 2013 . It all started at Tanners Wines, where I did my WSET 1,2 & 3 certifications and I learnt a huge amount about the wine industry from my time there! I’m looking forward to bringing that knowledge to Eden and helping the hospitality industry across the North-West to improve the quality and profitability of their wine lists.

Why do you work in the wine industry?

Working with wine has taught me that there is always more to learn - definitely more to taste and I find the Geography and history behind it all rather fascinating!

How do you help us to go the extra mile for our customers?

I think my personal touch with each customer. A sense of humour really helps to build relationships and I love building much more than a transactional relationship.



Anna Thurlow-Brookes


Regional Sales Manager – West & South Yorkshire

Tell us about your background?

I started my career in Wine on the Majestic Wines graduate training scheme, working in several different stores in the West Midlands over a period of about 4 years and during this time studied towards and achieved a distinction in my WSET Level 3. I then made the move across to Hallgarten Wines, where I worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Birmingham and Warwickshire for about 4.5 years. The best part of my job was the range and diversity of my customers from Michelin Star Restaurants to hotels, luxury Spa, pubs and gastropubs. Every customer wants something different and I love the challenge of building a bespoke wine list for each that fits their requirements.

Why do you love working for Eden? 

There are three main things that I really love about Eden Fine Wines. The First is the team, everyone is so knowledgeable, friendly and professional - it is a wonderful company to work for. The second is the wines, the range variety and quality makes me excited to come to work each and every day because I am constantly discovering new wines that renew my love for the industry. The third is the service, at the very core of Eden sits its approach towards exceptional customer service and that is something that makes me very proud.

Why do you work in the wine industry?

Definitely because of my love of wine, I love that there are so many grape varietals, styles, and regions to always keep me on my toes and continually expand my knowledge. I also love the personal approach and building really strong relationships with all my customers and providing them with exceptional service is something that I find incredibly fulfilling.

How do you help Eden Fine Wines to go the extra mile for our customers?

I strive to ensure that all account queries and other related administration requests are handled expeditiously and correctly. I compile full reconciliations when there is an account query and always try my best to give our customers everything they asked for, plus extra if possible.

What makes Eden Fine Wines different? 

I believe it is the personal touch and direct contact with our clients. We know our customers by name and they know they can call on us at any time.

Outside wine knowledge, what else can you offer our customers?

Knowledge on account management, credit control methods, direct debit management, and information about South Africa.
