Plum, cherry and soft oak aromas, with a well-structured palate and a finish of violet and dried fruit.
Enoitalia is one of the leading family-owned wineries in Italy, established in 1986 by the Pizzolo Family : Giorgio (Managing Director) and his three brothers, Augusto, Giuliano and Floriano. The main production facility is based in Calmasino near Lake Garda and boasts one of the most modern facilities in Europe. The family continue to build on their success with investment in both people and equipment, ensuring quality is always the number one priority.
The grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the fruit`s aromatic profile. Extended skin contact during fermentation enhances colour and tannin extraction, contributing to the wine`s structure. The wine may undergo malolactic fermentation and is often aged in stainless steel or oak barrels, depending on the desired style, to develop complexity and soften tannins.
