Virtuous Spirits was founded by Claes Stenmark who, in his own words, is “a bit loco” but perhaps you have to be to take on the idea of challenging the big multinational vodka brands.

Virtuous Vodka is made at the Tevsjö Destilleri which is about 300km north of Stockholm. The rye is grown locally and is milled in the Tevsjö mill. The water comes from the properties well, and a significant portion of the power comes from hydroelectric energy driven by the water running through the mill.

Virtuous Vodka is 100% organic and made using all-natural ingredients, with no added sugars, flavours or aromas. Distilled from Organic Swedish rye the result is a beautifully smooth and well-balanced flavour. The base spirit of rye gives it a sweet, peppery scent reminiscent of fresh baked bread, with light notes of fruit.
