High-impact nose of fresh berries and floral Torrontes notes, balanced by juicy Malbec tannins and lively acidity.
Their first family vineyard was planted by their founder, Alberto ‘Tito’ Zuccardi, in 1963. What started as an experiment to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new irrigation system he had created, led to the beginning of their family’s wine journey.
The Santa Julia vineyards, located in the heart of Mendoza, are the home to their wines and specifically their range of Natural Wines. Tito’s son, Jose Alberto and his daughter, Julia, ensure that Tito’s vision continues.
Sustainability and the environment are very important to them, and their natural wines come from over 150 hectares of certified organic vineyards in Maipú. They ensure they have the least possible human intervention in their production process and comply with philosophy of Santa Julia – caring for the environment, caring for the community of which they are a part, and producing the highest quality wines from this land they are proud to call their home.
Natural Wines are those that have the minimum possible intervention of man. Sulphites are not added. Natural yeasts are used, and the wine is bottled unfiltered. Classic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration for 15 days.
