Unit 7 Scandinavia Court,
Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Aromas of citrus and green apple, fresh acidity, stone fruit and a savoury, gently nutty finish.
The 30 hectare Vidussi estate is situated in the heart of the Collio region. The guyot-trained vineyards stretch between Capriva and Cormons, just several kilometres from the Slovenian border. A range of indigenous and international varities are cultivated here.
The Pinot Grigio grapes are cultivated in the hilly, eastern part of Fruili Venezia Giulia, between between Capriva del Friuli and Cormons. After hand-harvesting the grapes are macerated for 8 hours in stainless steel, below 10°C. Then, after clarification and racking, the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts for at least 3 months.
Bright aromas of citrus and green apple, with fresh acidity and hints of stone fruit on the palate and a savoury, gently nutty finish.
Serve with fish dishes, white meats and summer salads.
