Producer Information
Bodegas Ameztoi is one of the top producers of Getariako Txakolina. The winery owns 20 hectares of vines overlooking the town of San Sebastian. Ignacio Ameztoi is the seventh generation to carry on the tradition of making Txakolina.
Wine Making
The grapes were manually harvested, destemmed and pressed. Fermentation was in stainless steel tanks for 12-15 days. The must was left on the lees, allowing CO2 from the fermentation to dissolve, producing the refreshing spritzy crunch.
