Vibrant plummy and blackberry fruit, with good fruit intensity, a soft palate and a lovely, juicy finish.
Founded in 1928, Cantina Levorato are based in the town of Dolo, within the Veneto region of Italy. The have come a long way from selling their wines in barrels or demijohns in the city of Venice, and in towns along the Naviglio di Brenta canal.
Tradition and innovation are the cornerstones of their business. To that end they have implemented a restructuring plan that will increase production capacity and meet the ever changing needs of their customers.
The grapes were mechanically harvested and destemmed. The grapes were then cooled and underwent a pre-ferment whole bunch maceration, before temperature controlled tank fermentation. The wine was bottled with no addition of oak ageing.
