Producer Information
Casa Santos Lima is a family-owned company dedicated to the production, bottling and selling of Portuguese wines. They have vineyards in the regions of Lisboa, Algarve, Alentejo, Vinho Verde and Douro.
Casa Santos Lima is also the largest producer of “Vinho Regional Lisboa” and “DOC Alenquer” and is one of the most awarded Portuguese wineries in major national and international wine competitions.
Wine Making
The grapes were destemmed, and pressed. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats of 10.000 litres with temperature control to 18c.
Tasting Note
Ruby colour, with great complexity of red fruit jam and spice aromas. Velvety and very well structured, it is elegant and persistent, with a very enjoyable finish.
