Unit 7 Scandinavia Court,
Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Fresh with fine bubbles and notes of banana, citrus fruits and crunchy, balanced acidity.
The family has produced wine since 1808, however, Pago de Tharsys was not founded until 1999 by Vincente Garcia. They are a small Family Bodega with 13 hectares and are widely recognised as one of the very top producers of Cava. In fact, owner Vicente Garcia, is considered the Godfather of Valencian Cava.
The grapes are selected from 20 years old vines and the initial fermentation is in stainless steel tank at 14°C. Secondary fermentation takes place in bottle. After one year of ageing the wine is disgorged without adding any dosage (hence Brut Nature).
The wine is fresh with fine bubbles, clean, floral notes and nice, grassy aromas. Further notes of banana and citrus fruits are revealed and the finish is crunchy with balanced acidity.
Great with shell fish and creamy cheeses.
