Noughty, Non-Alcoholic Rouge

Amanda Thomson, CEO and Founder of B Corp Certified Thomson & Scott, has created NOUGHTY, the world’s first premium non-alcoholic wine portfolio. Amanda, who is of South Asian heritage, was voted one of Business Insider’s Coolest People in Food & Drink 2019, Le Cordon Bleu’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 and is an EY Winning Woman.

Formerly an Arts Broadcaster at the BBC, Thomson studied for her Diploma in Wine at the renowned Le Cordon Bleu School in Paris and is leading the global shift to integrate quality non-alcoholic wine drinking into the traditional wine industry.

NOUGHTY now sells to the world’s coolest bars, restaurants, and hotels. Some top locations where you can find NOUGHTY served at The Soho House Group, The Mandarin Oriental, and the Ritz Carlton.

Produced with Syrah grapes from dryland farmed vineyards in Darling, South Africa. The grapes are grown in strategically selected sites, which get the warm sunny and cooling effect of the Atlantic Ocean. Deep soils from decomposed granite and rich clay help to provide good drainage.

Dealcoholized to 0.5% ABV using a gently spun cone technology under vacuum and at low temperature to ensure that the wine retains its distinctive body, colour and flavour. Noughty Rouge is aged on a blend of 3rd and 4th fill barrels and French/American oak staves for 8 -10 months.
