Clean, fresh and zesty lemon aromas, with a lively palate of citrus and white fruits and a creamy texture.
In the Loire Valley, in the very heart of the Saumur vineyards, the Caves Louis de Grenelle produce their sparkling wines, made from local grapes, according to an ancestral process of wine-making. The wines are slowly developed and aged in the deep cellars carefully following the traditional method of second in-bottle fermentation.
Through its growers, Louis Grenelle aims to harness the rich substance of the region’s diverse soils and terroirs, from the villages of Montreuil-Bellay, Saumur, Le Puy Notre Dame, Martigné-Briand, Cléré-sur-Layon, and Nueil-sur-Layon. The base wines are all fermented in stainless steel and are matured on lees well beyond the appellation requirements.
Certified Organic, 60 % Chenin Blanc, 20 % Chardonnay, 10 % Cabernet France, 10 % Grolleau, cool-fermented in stainless steel, followed typically by 18-24 months on lees in bottle, before disgorgement with a Brut dosage.
Clean, fresh and zesty lemon aromas, with a lively palate of citrus and white fruits and a creamy texture.
A fine wine perfectly suited for celebrations and gourmet events. A perfect match for seafood or white fish. Ideal with lemon desserts such as lemon meringue pie.
