Unit 7 Scandinavia Court,
Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Warm, spicy and velvety, with red cherry and blackberry fruit, dark chocolate hints and subtle tannins.
Founded in 1928, Cantina Levorato are based in the town of Dolo, within the Veneto region of Italy. They have come a long way from selling their wines in barrels or demijohns in the city of Venice, and in towns along the Naviglio di Brenta canal.
Tradition and innovation are the cornerstones of their business. To that end they have implemented a restructuring plan that will increase production capacity and meet the ever changing needs of their customers.
The grapes were destemmed, pressed and macerated with the skins. Fermentation was in stainless steel tanks for approximately 14 days with malolactic fermentation taking place. The wine was bottled without the addition of oak ageing.
Warm, spicy and velvety, with red cherry and blackberry fruit, dark chocolate hints and subtle tannins.
A versatile wine with spicy notes that works well with juicy meats, sausages, pasta, rich meats and BBQ dishes.
