Unit 7 Scandinavia Court,
Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Ripe and textural, with apple, hints of honey and peach and a crisp, citrus acidity.
Founded in 1928, Cantina Levorato are based in the town of Dolo, within the Veneto region of Italy. They have come a long way from selling their wines in barrels or demijohns in the city of Venice, and in towns along the Naviglio di Brenta canal.
Tradition and innovation are the cornerstones of their business. To that end they have implemented a restructuring plan that will increase production capacity and meet the ever changing needs of their customers.
The grapes were harvested from late August to early September, then crushed and gently pressed. The juice was allowed to settle and clarify before a cool fermentation at 16 to 18c in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ripe and textural, with apple, hints of honey and peach and a crisp, citrus acidity.
Serve with seafood and fish dishes, salads and cold meats. It also has enough richness to accompany roast poultry and poached salmon.
