Little Pomona Orchard & Cidery

Super fresh, juicy and fruity, with just a touch of tannin, a gentle sparkle and enough complexity.

Producer Information

First launched onto the market in 2017. Susanna and James Forbes’ story started a few years earlier, when they found their dream orchard in Thornbury, North Herefordshire. There are 120 trees with four classic cider apple varieties. Inspired by the vision of notable producers, their quest was to work with the best possible fruit using natural methods, to fashion ciders and perries with true flavours. Also, Ciders with the character and structure to match with food.

Wine Making

Released seasonally in rolling small parcels, the Table Cider reflects the sheer joyous drinkability of great cider, its natural affinity with food and its ability to capture the essence of each harvest in every glass. Their ciders are made naturally, with a natural fermentation and no use of sulphur. The apples are hand harvested and co-fermented in stainless steel tanks. The soft bubbles in this cider are captured in the gentle, natural fermentation. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Note

Super fresh, juicy and fruity, with just a touch of tannin, a gentle sparkle and enough complexity.

Great with white meats, particularly pork, salads and of course apples. Just great chilled on its own!
