Unit 7 Scandinavia Court,
Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Light and delicate, with a leafy green nose, lemon zest character, apple, lime fruit and exotic notes.
Founded in 1985, Leventhorpe is an ideal site for wine growing and one of the very few vineyards that lie within a large city boundary anywhere in the world. From the beginning it has been their aim to produce excellent wines full of character.
All the wines produced at Leventhorpe are made from grapes grown within the five acre vineyard in their purpose built winery. This enables them to control the wine-making process, thus preserving our wines’ unique character and identity. Oz Clarke states that he could recognise Leventhorpe Madeleine Angevine if given a glass anywhere.
100% Seyval grapes are hand-picked and destemmed, before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. Bottled without the addion of any oak-ageing.
Light and delicate, with a leafy green nose, lemon zest character, apple, lime fruit and exotic notes.
A great all-rounder with white meats, seafood, salads and vegetables.
