Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Velvety, elegant and floral.
Lord Jules de Souzy, lived in Château de la Terrière during the 19th century and developed its reputation for the fine wines it produced. The range of wines Jules de Souzy – the winemaker range – is named in his honour. Jules de Souzy grapes are sourced from high density vineyards primarily in the Mâconnais and Beaujolais, and the wines vinified using traditional processes. They have an overriding respect for quality and the sustainable approaches utilised in the different vineyards.
Grapes are harvested by hand and loaded into the fermentation tank in whole bunches. Maceration lasts 10 to 12 days to give extra colour and body.
Minerality, ripe fruit and spicy nuances, with finesse and a persistent finish
Enjoy with grilled and rosted white or red meats, game, pizza, pasta and mild creamy cheeses.
