Producer Information

Judith not only lives according to the postal address, but actually lives in the middle of the vines. Hence their deep relationship with their own vineyards. Their wines are natural, truthful, genuine and above all, authentic.

Always more reserved than loud. Judith acquired the tools to take over father Matthias`s wine-growing business at the Klosterneuburg wine-growing school and through internships at Cos d`Estournel (France), Braida (Italy) and Errazuriz (Chile). She has been in charge of the winery since 2004. Judith is also a key member of a group of Austrian female wine makers called "11 Frauen und Ihre Weine". 11 Women and Their Wine.

Wine Making

The grapes were manually harvested and whole bunch pressed. Fremantation was in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. After fermentation, the wine was left on fine lees for 4 months before bottling with a light filtration.

Tasting Note

Cherry, peach and raspberry aromes, with refreshing and pleasant acidity, tones of raspberries and strawberries which complement the notes of citrus and fine spice.
