Producer Information
The La Delizia company was established in 1931, whose roots come from a long history of tradition and passion that continues and evolves with the market. A deep-rooted wine-making experience combined with a strong drive for innovation has resulted in La Delizia being a leading company in the world of sparkling wines. They have 450 members, and we are the largest wine producer in the region. The strength of their cooperative lies in the ability to guarantee an integrated production chain from the vineyard, to the bottling process.
Wine Making
From selected parcels of Glera grapes, with the addition on 10% Pinot Noir. Hand harvested at optimum ripeness to give the required balance between aromatics and good acidity. Gentle pneumatic pressing followed by slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel. Second fermentation takes place in pressure tanks, where the wine spends 2 months on lees.
