Fine and elegant aromas, with a fresh and fruity palate and good structure.
A jewel of incomparable beauty lies in the heart of Tuscany: the Chianti hills. In 1961, seventeen farmers gathered here to relaunch the local economy and give voice to Tuscany`s countryside. So, it began an adventure destined to write the history of Tuscan wine: “Agricoltori del Chianti Geografico”. Its winegrowers have always worked hard to protect the ancient art of tradition and to enhance the excellence of the territory. The name ("Geografico") clearly identifies their deep-rooted belonging to the lands of Gaiole, Radda, and Castellina, the cradle of Chianti Classico.
The Vernaccia Borgo alla Terra grapes are harvested around mid-September, about 10 days later than usual. We make use of the most modern winemaking techniques to enhance the varietal character, made with sof pressing and low fermentation temperatures.
Fine and elegant aromas, with a fresh and fruity palate and good structure.
Pairs well with fish dishes, shellfish, seafood and grilled white meats.
