Fine tannins, bright acidity with bay leaf and black currant. Long sinewy tannins on the finish.
The award-winning and family-owned Western Australian business was established in 2005, by Larry and his wife Edwina, and is now astutely recognised as one of Australia’s most successful and innovative wine producers.
Made in a clay cement ovoid tank - a giant "egg" - the lees are continuously forced upward by an internal current resembling a vortex. This gives the wine voluptuousness, purity and texture. There isd no added tannin, acid or animal fining products. Ther is zero sulphur used throughout the wine making, and only a minimal amount at bottling.

This savoury red will pair well with grilled and roasted red meats, pizza and pasta dishes, as well as wintery casseroles and stews, mature cheeses and slow roasted pork.
