Unit 7 Scandinavia Court,
Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Pure, ripe, and characterful with classic raspberry fruit, juicy acidity and rich berries.
Widely regarded as one of the best co-operatives in the world, Cave de Turckheim lies at the mouth of the Munster Valley. Working closely with 180 partners, its vineyards span the full breadth of Alsatian terroir and grape varieties.
Committed to producing the highest quality wines, growers are encouraged to keep yields low - for example, Cave de Turckheim voluntarily caps yields for its Grands Crus vineyards at 45hl/ha rather than the permitted 55hl/ha - and to pick the grapes by hand. They are leaders in sustainable growing and winemaking.
Produced from organically grown grapes but please note that the label does not say ‘organic’ in English. Instead, it uses the AB logo and certification and the French phrase: ‘vin issu de raisins de l’Agriculture Biologique’.
Pure, ripe, and characterful with classic varietal raspberry fruit and juicy acidity on the finish. Rich berry fruit dominates now but the more gamey, complex characters of Pinot Noir will develop with age.
Grilled salmon or tuna, free-range pork sausages, charcuterie, wild mushroom linguine.
