Ripe fruit aromas, with plum and blackcurrant characters, hints of liquorish and structured tannins.
Founded in 1928, Cantina Levorato are based in the town of Dolo, within the Veneto region of Italy. The have come a long way from selling their wines in barrels or demijohns in the city of Venice, and in towns along the Naviglio di Brenta canal.
Tradition and innovation are the cornerstones of their business. To that end they have implemented a restructuring plan that will increase production capacity and meet the ever changing needs of their customers.
The grape were manually harvested, destemmed and crushed. Fermented with the skins in small stainless steel vats for approximately 12-14 days at temperatures below 26°C. Bottled without the addition of oak ageing.

Its all about the fruit, so think pizza, pasta, tomato based dishes, charcuterie, lamb and juicy burgers.
