Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Rich, deep and plummy with uplifting notes of red cherry, violet and spiced vanilla and soft tannins.
The Winery’s production philosophy is focused on high quality and a short supply chain from the producer to the consumer. They are personally involved in the entire production chain, from the harvest and preparation of the grapes, to the winemaking, up to the ageing, paying special attention to small batches during bottling.
The grapes were harvested in the second week of September exclusively by hand. The grapes were to dry for 60 days, to obtain a higher concentration. Then destemmed and gently pneumatic pressed. Fermentation temperature was at 25°C and maceration for 10 days with scheduled punching 3 times a day for 20 minutes. Malolactic fermentation was completed. Aging in wood.
Rich, deep and plummy with uplifting notes of red cherry, violet and spiced vanilla and soft tannins.
Great with red meats, tomato based sauces, and rich pasta dishes.
