Producer Information
Cantina del Garda overlooks one of the most beautiful shores of Lake Garda, one of Italy’s largest lakes spanning Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Lombardy. This northernmost Mediterranean climate offers sunny days and breezy evenings, allowing grapes to ripen slowly and develop character.
Most vineyards lie in the Bardolino, Custoza, Lugana and Bardolino Superiore DOC/DOCG zones, producing excellent value wines with modern, elegant presentation. The winery honours tradition with minimal intervention, encouraging spontaneous grass cover and biodiversity. Since 2012, it has followed leading Italian sustainable viticulture protocols and participates in the Italian Wine Union’s Tergeo sustainability project for generations to come.
Wine Making
Hand harvested grapes picked fresh in the morning, destemmed and crushed. The juice fermented in stainless steel tanks before blending and bottling.
