Unit 7 Scandinavia Court,
Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Complex, aromatic and floral, with white flowers, orange blossom and citrus aromas. Very unctuousness, with good acidity and long aftertaste.
The Perez-Pardo family comes from the Caroif Massif, a mountainous area with deep ravines and a long tradition of wine-making. This is a relatively new bodega with vineyards in two distinct areas, Casa Coromes and Casa Lluch. Our wines, one made from the rare local white grape Verdil, have their origins close by. Vineyard size 160 hectares. Organic since 2007.
Fermentation in second-third use French oak barrels and subsequent aging for 4.5 months. Manual harvest in boxes of 15 kilos. Grapes from the best vineyards of our Casa Corones estate, located in the heart of Fontanars dels Alforins at 700 m above sea level. 20 years old dry vineyard. Production 2.2 kg/vine. Calcareous, clay loam soils. High percentage of active limestone.
