Bazar, Pinot Noir Gewurztraminer

Home Red Wines Wines Bazar, Pinot Noir Gewurztraminer

Bazar

Juicy and aromatic, with red cherry, lychee, and tropical fruit lifted by refreshing acidity.

Producer Information

The company began as a tiny importer in 1980, specialising in French wines. The owner himself began by personally selecting the wines from France, back in the UK he would unload the trailer by hand. And deliver the crates of wines to customers himself. But good things grow and 10 years later, the company started in January 1990. The first office was in the middle of the vines in Julienas; perfectly located to navigate the Beaujolais and Macon regions on the quest to make beautiful wines.

Wine Making

Two grape-filled trailers one red, one white, one chaotic winery and an inevitable oops... et voilà - Quel Bazar! A happy accident turned liquid masterpiece. This collision created a juicy, aromatic, unexpected wine with a little wild side - because the best things in life aren`t predictable.

Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer are co-fermented to make a wine that`s fun, bright, and bouncy.

Tasting Note

Red cherry notes from the Pinot Noir meet with lychee and tropic fruit in the Gewurztraminer to create a flavour that`s both charming and enjoyable. Juicy and aromatic with refreshing acidity.

Food Matching

Even more enjoyable lightly chilled, this wine pair perfectly with Asian dishes, pizza and cold meats.
