Producer Information

Founded in 1968 by the son of a farmer, Angelo Bortolin, the winery is based in Guia, nestled in the spectacular scenery and hills of the region. The Bortolin Angelo winery is a symbol of excellence in the Valdobbiadene wine scene. They are a small family-run business, renowned for the high quality sparkling wines which are all 100% Valdobbiadene DOCG.

Wine Making

The Bortolin Angelo winery produces its Valdobbiadene DOCG carefully, respecting the oldest wine-making wisdom, as well as the regulations for producing Prosecco Superiore di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene. The grapes are exclusively manually harvested and softly pressed to extract only the free-run juice. The must is left to stand at a cold temperature of (5-10C) in stainless steel tanks for 10-12 hours. The fermentation is in stainless steel tanks for about 15-20 days at a constant temperature of 18-20 degrees.

Tasting Note

It has a fine and persistent perlage, with characteristically fruity aromas and a delicate taste. When combined with its low alcohol content, it is ideal for any occasion and at any time of the day.

Food Matching

Pair with simple seafood, cured meats, tempura prawns or fish and chips.
