Unit 7 Scandinavia Court,
Chain Bar Road, Cleckheaton,
West Yorkshire, BD19 3QW
Pure and bright, with orange blossom, zesty acidity and a richness, with peachy notes.
The ‘Pays d’Oc’, refers to the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France, known by the French as ‘Le Midi’. Geographically the Oc covers an incredibly broad swathe of vineyards from the Rhône delta in the middle of southern France, arcing all the way round to the Spanish border on her Mediterranean seaboard.
Our range of Bellefontaine wines have been sourced from the Languedoc for over 20 years and we have refined the styles over the years to make sure they follow international taste profiles and trends.
The goal is to create a range of wines of consistent quality that are delicious to drink on their own but that also complement food well. We`ve blended Chardonnay from Gascony for purity and freshness with Chardonnay from Pays d`Oc for varietal character and texture. By blending these two, we`ve taken the best from each region to create a harmonious, unoaked Chardonnay.
Very pure and bright, with an attractive orange blossom nose. Zesty acidity is nicely complemented by the richness and peach notes on the palate.
Classically served with fish or salad, and would be lovely with fresh bread and cheese for an impromptu lunchtime picnic.
